Westmont Warriors (Campbell, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Westmont improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 1-4. Half Moon Bay won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Gunn (Palo Alto, CA)

The Bearcats now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sacred Heart Prep for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. San Mateo will face a Gators squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA). The Gators record now stands at 0-1.
