Indiana High School Volleyball - Vincennes Rivet edged by Springs Valley

Springs Valley Blackhawks (French Lick, IN) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Vincennes Rivet Patriots (Vincennes, IN), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Springs Valley improves its record to 8-1 on the season. The Blackhawks host Austin (Austin, IN) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 3-3. Austin won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against New Washington (New Washington, IN)

The Patriots now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forest Park for a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. Vincennes Rivet will face a Rangers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Evansville Mater Dei (Evansville, IN). The Rangers record now stands at 3-2.
