The Waxahachie Indians edged the host Walnut Grove Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Indians face the Seven Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 31. Waxahachie will attempt to advance on its 14-15 season record. The Spartans go into the game with a 16-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Bridgeland (Cypress, TX).

The Wildcats (16-11) will now prepare for their game against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers go into the non-league game with a 13-8 record. In their last game, Lone Star was edged by Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
