The Sumrall Bobcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Hattiesburg Tigers to 0 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bobcats now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northeast Lauderdale for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 8. Sumrall will meet a Trojans team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 6-2.
The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Columbia (Columbia, MS). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Columbia dropped by East Marion (Columbia, MS), 2-0, in a non-league game.
