The Strong Rock Christian Patriots softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Locust Grove Wildcats to 3 in the Patriots non-league win on Monday.

The Patriots now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 8. Strong Rock Christian will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Lamar County (Barnesville, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Locust Grove moves to 0-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA) to confront the Eagles in a 4A Region 2 battle on Tuesday, August 6. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Eagle's Landing lost 19-4 in their recent non-league battle against Dutchtown (Hampton, GA)
