The Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets triumphed over the host Statesboro Blue Devils softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Yellow Jackets now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Long County for a 3A Region 3 battle on Thursday, August 21. Southeast Bulloch will confront a Blue Tide team coming off a 16-0 league win over Liberty County (Hinesville, GA). The Blue Tide record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Statesboro moves to 1-5 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 21. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Richmond Hill won 8-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Statesboro (Statesboro, GA)
