Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host Clinch County for a 1A D-II Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, August 23. Lanier County will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Valdosta (Valdosta, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Bleckley County falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Schley County (Ellaville, GA) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, August 22. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Schley County won 9-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Crawford County (Roberta, GA)
