Tattnall Square Academy Trojans (Macon, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Eagle's Landing Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 9. Tattnall Square Academy will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Chargers record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, South Effingham falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 6. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
