With the triumph, East Coweta improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Indians travel to Jackson (Jackson, GA) to play the Red Devils in a non-league game on Monday, August 12. The Red Devils enter the game with a record of 0-3.

The Lions now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Chapel Hill for a non-league game on Friday, August 9. Central will play a Panthers squad coming off a 12-10 non-league win over Decatur (Decatur, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-0.
