In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Union Cougars.
The Soaring Eagle (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against St. Joseph (Ogden, UT). The Jayhawks go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, St. Joseph by Carbon (Price, UT), 8-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Cougars play the Grantsville Cowboys (Grantsville, UT) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, August 12. Union will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Cowboys go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Canyon View (Cedar City, UT).
