With the win, Perry improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Crawford County (Roberta, GA) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, August 7. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-0. Crawford County won 2-0 in their recent league test against Northeast (Macon, GA)

The Eagles now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oglethorpe County for a non-league test on Saturday, August 9. Stratford Academy will battle a Patriots team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Jackson (Commerce, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-2.
