Georgia High School Volleyball - Coahulla Creek tips Northwest Whitfield

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Coahulla Creek Colts (Dalton, GA) and the host Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA), observed Coahulla Creek's volleyball team hold off Northwest Whitfield by a count of 2-1.

The Colts (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Calhoun (Calhoun, GA). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Calhoun got by Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bruins battle the Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 12. Northwest Whitfield will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Phoenix enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Pickens (Jasper, GA).
