Mississippi High School Volleyball - Hancock tips Ocean Springs

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) and the visiting Ocean Springs Greyhounds (Ocean Springs, MS), observed Hancock's volleyball team hold off Ocean Springs by a count of 3-2.

The Hawks (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Crescents enter the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Our Lady Academy got by Gulfport (Gulfport, MS), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Greyhounds battle the Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS) in a Class 7A Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, August 12. Ocean Springs will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record.
