The Maroons come into the contest with a record of 0-1. Blackwell lost 9-4 in their recent non-league contest against Frontier (Red Rock, OK)

In their next game, the Bears play the Guthrie Bluejays (Guthrie, OK) in a 5A District 2 contest, on Tuesday, August 9. Noble will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Bluejays come into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 12-0 league win over Western Heights (Oklahoma City, OK).
