East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY), 8-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders confront the Prestonsburg Blackcats (Prestonsburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 10. East Carter will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.

The Cougars now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Powell County for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 21.
