In Tuesday's non-league match, the South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) softball squad triumphed over the visiting Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs (Kennesaw, GA), by a count of 15-3.
The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hillgrove for a non-league match on Saturday, August 12. South Paulding will face a Hawks squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Brookwood (Snellville, GA). The Hawks record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Kennesaw Mountain falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Etowah (Woodstock, GA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, August 17. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-1.
