Texas High School Volleyball - Alief Taylor tips Morton Ranch

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX) and the host Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX), saw Alief Taylor's volleyball squad nip Morton Ranch by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Alief Taylor upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Alief Hastings (Houston, TX) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 10. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Alief Hastings lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against King (Houston, TX)

The Mavericks now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cedar Park for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 10. Morton Ranch will play a Timberwolves squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX). The Timberwolves record now stands at 1-0.
