The West Trojans (West, TX) volleyball overcame the host Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, West upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Trojans travel to Ennis (Ennis, TX) to face the Lions in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 10. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Ennis won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX)

The Cadets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Carter-Riverside for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 10. Connally will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Keene (Keene, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
