The Hebbronville Longhorns volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Lyford Bulldogs to 2 in the Longhorns non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Longhorns now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bruni for a non-league game on Friday, August 11.

The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Raymondville (Raymondville, TX). The Bearkats enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Raymondville was nudged by IDEA Frontier College Prep (Brownsville, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
