The Bulldogs now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Non Varsity Tournament Opponent for a non-league game on Thursday, August 10. Wortham will meet a team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Northwood (Irvine, CA). The record now stands at 0-1.

The Black Cats (0-1) will now prepare for their game against West (West, TX). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, West gained a win over Connally (Waco, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
