Utah High School Soccer - Maeser Prep Academy knocks off South Summit

The Maeser Prep Academy Lions soccer squad scored 6 points and held the host South Summit Wildcats to 1 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.

The Lions now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Manti for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 13. Maeser Prep Academy will play a Templars squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Parowan (Parowan, UT). The Templars record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, South Summit falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Providence Hall (Herriman, UT) to meet the Patriots in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 13. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 0-2. Providence Hall lost 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Cyprus (Magna, UT)
