The Mill Creek Hawks softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Apalachee Wildcats to 5 in the Hawks non-league win on Thursday.

The Hawks now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a non-league battle on Monday, August 12. Mill Creek will confront a Dragons team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Banks County (Homer, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Apalachee moves to 0-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Beach (Savannah, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 13. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
