Georgia High School Softball - Social Circle can't get by Eastside

Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Social Circle Redskins (Social Circle, GA), 7-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Eastside upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Monroe Area (Monroe, GA) to play the Purple Hurricanes in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 13. The Purple Hurricanes enter the game with a record of 2-2.
The Redskins now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Oconee County for a non-league game on Monday, August 12. Social Circle will play a Warriors squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.
