The Wesleyan Wolves softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Pope Greyhounds to 1 in the Wolves non-league win on Thursday.

The Wolves now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Decatur for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 13. Wesleyan will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 16-3 non-league win over Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Pope moves to 3-1 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Pace Academy (Atlanta, GA) to confront the Knights in a non-league battle on Monday, August 12. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 2-0. Pace Academy won 8-7 in their recent non-league battle against Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA)
