The Jackson County Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Cedar Shoals Jaguars to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 10. Jackson County will play a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Chestatee (Gainesville, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Cedar Shoals drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Clarke Central (Athens, GA) to play the Gladiators in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 13. The Gladiators come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
