The Salt Lake Academy Griffins soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Granger Lancers to 0 in the Griffins non-league victory on Friday.
The Griffins now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Brighton for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 12. Salt Lake Academy will play a Bengals squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Juab (Nephi, UT). The Bengals record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Granger moves to 0-2 on the year. The Lancers host Ben Lomond (Ogden, UT) to play the Scots in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 14. The Scots go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
