In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Sequoyah Chiefs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs.

The Chiefs (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, East Coweta edged Parkview (Lilburn, GA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Denmark (Alpharetta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 8. Kennesaw Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
