In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Swainsboro Tigers (Swainsboro, GA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA), by a margin of 16-4.

With the triumph, Swainsboro moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to King's Ridge Christian (Alpharetta, GA) to play the Tigers in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 13. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Golden Hawks play the Burke County Bears (Waynesboro, GA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, August 10. Washington County will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Bears come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 14-3 non-league loss to Metter (Metter, GA).
