In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Leander Lions volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Anderson Trojans.
The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Giddings (Giddings, TX). The Buffaloes come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Giddings nudged Devine (Devine, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Trojans clash with the King Brahmas (Kingsville, TX) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 11. Anderson will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Brahmas come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Jones (Beeville, TX).
