The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Taylor Ducks (Taylor, TX) and the host Elgin Wildcats (Elgin, TX), saw Taylor's volleyball squad beat Elgin by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Taylor upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Ducks travel to Mumford (Mumford, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, August 12. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Mumford lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Navasota (Navasota, TX)

The Wildcats now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Prince of Peace for a non-league bout on Friday, August 12. Elgin will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Episcopal School of Dallas (Dallas, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
