The Nixon Mustangs topped the visiting Weslaco East Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jay for a non-league test on Friday, August 12. Nixon will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over SA Roosevelt (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.
The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Martin (Laredo, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Martin was knocked off by Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
