The Nixon Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Weslaco Panthers to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weslaco East for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 9.
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Lopez (Brownsville, TX). The Lobos enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Lopez gained a win over Hanna (Brownsville, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
