With the win, Shallowater upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Graham (Graham, TX) to play the Steers in a non-league bout on Friday, August 12. The Steers go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Graham lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Peaster (Peaster, TX)

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Greenwood (Midland, TX). The Rangers enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Greenwood dropped by West Plains (Amarillo, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
