The Pike County Pirates got by the visiting Stratford Academy Eagles softball squad by a final score of 5-4 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Pirates (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA). The Indians go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, East Coweta tipped Troup County (LaGrange, GA), 9-1, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Loganville Christian Academy (Loganville, GA). The Lions enter the non-league outing with a 3-3 record.
