The Dade County Wolverines softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Southeast Whitfield County Raiders to 3 in the Wolverines non-league win on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johns Creek for a non-league battle on Friday, August 9. Dade County will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to King's Ridge Christian (Alpharetta, GA). The Gladiators record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Southeast Whitfield County moves to 0-4 on the season. The Raiders travel to Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA) to confront the Colts in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 10. The Colts come into the battle with a record of 1-0. Coahulla Creek won 9-4 in their recent non-league battle against Ridgeland (Rossville, GA)
