Georgia High School Softball - Jasper County sneaks past Taylor County

August 9, 2024: Butler, GA 31006

The Jasper County Hurricanes softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Taylor County Vikings to 4 in the Hurricanes non-league win on Friday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Upson-Lee for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 10. Jasper County will confront a Knights team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA). The Knights record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Taylor County moves to 0-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA) to confront the Chiefs in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 10. The Chiefs come into the battle with a record of 1-2. McIntosh lost 13-3 in their recent non-league battle against Pike County (Zebulon, GA)
