Georgia High School Softball - Upson-Lee tipped by McIntosh

August 9, 2024: Thomaston, GA 30286

McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), 9-7 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, McIntosh improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Crawford County (Roberta, GA) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, August 10. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 0-2. Crawford County lost 7-3 in their recent non-league game against Peach County (Fort Valley, GA)

The Knights now hold a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Jasper County for a non-league game on Saturday, August 10. Upson-Lee will play a Hurricanes squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Newton (Covington, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 2-0.
