Next, the Bears meet the Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 12. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Gladiators enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 19-4 non-league win over Rockdale County (Conyers, GA).

The Warriors (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against George Walton Academy (Monroe, GA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, George Walton Academy was routed by Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA), 5-4, in a non-league challenge.
