In Saturday's non-league test, the Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA) softball squad the visiting Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA), by a margin of 9-7.

The Red Devils now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Locust Grove for a non-league outing on Monday, August 11.

With the defeat, Bryan County drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Metter (Metter, GA) to clash with the Tigers in a 1A D-II Region 3 contest on Tuesday, August 12. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 1-2. Metter lost 4-2 in their recent non-league bout against Harlem (Harlem, GA)
