The Coastal Christian Centurions prevailed the host Calvary Day School Cougars volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Centurions now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Topsail for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 14. Coastal Christian will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Calvary Day School drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC) to clash with the Sauras in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 14. The Sauras come into the outing with a record of 1-0. South Stokes won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC)
