In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Hattiesburg Tigers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Stone Tomcats.
The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart (Hattiesburg, MS). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Sacred Heart was nudged by Petal (Petal, MS), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tomcats meet the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies (Brooklyn, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 11. Stone will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Aggies come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over North Forrest (Hattiesburg, MS).
