Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Paloma Valley Wildcats (Menifee, CA) and the host Hemet Bulldogs (Hemet, CA), observed Paloma Valley's volleyball team hold off Hemet by a count of 1-0.
The Wildcats (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Redlands (Redlands, CA). The Terriers enter the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Redlands tipped Marlborough (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league battle on Monday, August 11. Hemet will encounter a Bison squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over West Valley (Hemet, CA). The Bison record now stands at 2-1.
