In Thursday's league game, the St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats (Mobile, AL) football team tipped the host Chickasaw Chieftains (Chickasaw, AL), by a score of 20-14.
The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Washington County (Chatom, AL). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region 1 game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Washington County was tipped by Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL), 46-0, in a league game.
The Chieftains now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blacksher for a 2A Region 1 game on Thursday, September 8. Chickasaw will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 48-0 league win over Marion (Marion, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.
