California High School Football - Del Mar topples Prospect

September 1, 2022: San Jose, CA 95128

The Del Mar Dons (San Jose, CA) football defeated the visiting Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA), 34-16 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Dons face the Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 9. Del Mar will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Bruins enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 50-33 non-league loss to Overfelt (San Jose, CA).

The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Cupertino (Cupertino, CA). The Pioneers enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Cupertino defeated South San Francisco (South San Francisco, CA), 25-14, in a non-league bout.
