The Oscoda Owls football team (Oscoda, MI), was tipped 34-28 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Glen Lake Lakers (Maple City, MI)

The Lakers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI). The Rams come into the Northern Michigan - Legacy challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Harbor Springs was tipped by Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI), 67-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Owls now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Meridian for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Oscoda will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 14-0 league win over Shepherd (Shepherd, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-1.
