Michigan High School Football - Reading topples Grass Lake

September 1, 2022: Grass Lake, MI 49240

The Reading Rangers (Reading, MI) football defeated the host Grass Lake Warriors (Grass Lake, MI), 26-14 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rangers face the Quincy Orioles (Quincy, MI) in a Big 8 bout, on Friday, September 9. Reading will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Orioles enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 42-6 league loss to Union City (Union City, MI).

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against East Jackson (Jackson, MI). The Trojans enter the Cascades bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, East Jackson was toppled by Napoleon (Napoleon, MI), 41-12, in a league bout.
