The Hico Tigers football team (Hico, TX), was beaten 23-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Moody Bearcats (Moody, TX)

The Bearcats (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hubbard (Hubbard, TX). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Hubbard was beaten by Itasca (Itasca, TX), 28-20, in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cross Plains for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Hico will meet a Buffaloes team coming off a 27-6 non-league win over De Leon (De Leon, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-0.
