Texas High School Football - Newman International Academy held off by Jefferson

September 1, 2022: Arlington, TX 76011

In Thursday's non-league game, the Jefferson Patriots (Dallas, TX) football team tipped the host Newman International Academy Warriors (Arlington, TX), by a final score of 9-6.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Venus (Venus, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Venus was tipped by South Hills (Fort Worth, TX), 42-21, in a non-league game.

The Warriors now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atlas HomeSchool Rattlers for a non-league game on Saturday, September 10. Newman International Academy will battle a Rattlers team coming off a 44-8 non-league win over Inspired Vision (Dallas, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 1-1.
