California High School Football - Venice drops to San Pedro

September 1, 2022: San Pedro, CA 90731

In Thursday's non-league game, the San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) football team knocked off the visiting Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA), by a score of 20-7.

The Pirates (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Torrance (Torrance, CA). The Tartars come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Torrance was knocked off by Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA), 17-3, in a non-league game.

The Gondoliers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Crespi for a non-league game on Friday, September 16.

Congratulations to #8 Roman Sanchez (overall and special teams), #14 Laron Tunupopo (offensive) and #51 Jerry Witty (defensive) for being selected the San Pedro Football Players of the Game.
