California High School Football - Nevada Union topped by Woodcreek

The Nevada Union Miners football team (Grass Valley, CA), was beaten 46-20 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA)

The Timberwolves (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Fighting Zebras come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record.

The Miners now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colfax for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 8. Nevada Union will meet a Falcons team coming off a 34-6 non-league loss to Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.
